Random new idea I thought of. A large collection of short stories following significant people of the 19th Century, with a wicked twist to their lives. People such as Oscar Wilde, Lincoln, Twain, Edgar Allan Poe, Beethoven and Jane Austen will become savage and deeply dark characters. These short stories will follow their hidden lives(which we all know they had) and it’ll give a dangerous, gory spin on things.
It could be looked at as a dark satire to the “behind the scenes” lives of an icon of the 19th Century.
“Believe it, zombie. When I say growth I mean growth. Capital appreciation. You can stop sweating. There’s a great future there.”- (The Girl Who Was Plugged In)
I’m entirely in love with this short story. I just finished reading it for class and i can’t stop thinking about it. This is gonna be a great class based on this alone. Really can’t wait.
