I’ve got emotion
Dripping out my pores and I
Thought I would let you know
You are the night light,
Ripping through my wicked world
How you make it sparkle and glow,
Before I lose control
There’s just one thing you should know

This is for real, this time I mean it
I’m coming clean, please don’t let go
I said from the start, that you could take it or leave it
Prefer that you keep it
Don’t let go

This is For Real (Motion City Soundtrack)

My latest musical addiction. Such true words/feelings that I can more than clearly understand at this point in time.

The Evolution of Vocabulary

You start to realize something is wrong when “lol” becomes casual use in your daily vocabulary. The world is indeed changing.

It kind of saddens me a bit. I wish the world wasn’t changing. I know it has to, but I’d prefer it didn’t. If you think if it, the more we create and evolve, the more corrupt and dangerous our world seems to become. Guns were designed as a means of protection but all the pain seems to outweigh the safety.

This world would be much better without it’s lol’s, it’s jk lmao’s, and it’s rofl imy’s. Text talk is causing us to forget the true beauty behind the words we learned as children. New technology like the internet is making us look up information instead of actually remembering why learning matters. But most of all, new ideas are just leading us to nuclear warfare instead of collective happiness.

I say we change ourselves, not the material things we use in everyday life. Maybe we’ll even evolve into a higher being known for the greatness it has achieved.

You know what really angers me? The fact that people constantly dramatize the use of the word love. In my opinion, it’s just a word.

You spend your entire life telling your family how much you love them and they never exaggerate because you said it.

A word is only as strong as the emotion you put behind it. Look at the word Happy for instance. It means nothing when i say it in a sentence like: “Watching this movie makes me so happy.” The most you can get from that sentence is a small example of something i enjoy, but that essentially isn’t as important as a romantic crisis. Now, lets change the emotional use of the word. If I use it as follows: “The time we spent last night, was a very happy moment that I’ll always remember.” This sentence shows that you’ve impacted me deeply.

You see, any word can have deep meaning. It’s not the word itself. It’s the way you use it. I can replace the word love with potato and bring out the same emotion(Even though that would just be a little weird).

Don’t freak out because 5 days into a relationship, your partner decides to say I love you. It’s just a way of showing how much they care for you. And plus, isn’t that a good thing/  (Although I do admit that Love has become an important symbol in romanticism over the period of man’s existence, I do not agree with the new negative connotation of the word.)

My closing point is, if you care for someone very much, you shouldn’t have to be forced to only use the word I love you. It should come out naturally. Through actions. Through other words. If you care for someone, it shouldn’t be based on one general thing. So be you and the rest will come to you.

Spark your Mind. Upset the universe. Change the world. :)

Life is knowing that if you were to say something specific, nothing will ever be the same. But that’s the thing about life, in choosing not to you are making a great difference in the world.

Kid

Kid, you show too much emotion. It’s your fatal flaw. People take advantage of you or fling blame in your direction because they feel you’ll be fine with it. Don’t let them kid. Show them you’re in charge of yourself. Your emotions are just holding you back. Hide them. Treat the world like dirt and you’ll rule it soon enough. Kid, you’re meant for greatness. You can’t be pushed all your life and land on fame safely. Get a façade and become great.
